Food supplement based on probiotics for the balance of the intestinal flora.
VSL3 is a proprietary blend of live and freeze-dried lactic acid bacteria and bifidobacteria. Eight different strains of bacteria were selected, grown in specific culture media and then mixed in such proportions as to optimize the functionality of the product.
Each sachet of VSL # 3 contains 450 billion viable bacterial cells, an amount that helps restore the gut's lactic and bifid bacterial flora.

Maltose; mixture of live lactic acid bacteria and bifidobacteria: Streptococcus thermophilus BT01, Bifidobacterium breve BB02, Bifidobacterium longum * BL03, Bifidobacterium infantis * BI04, Lactobacillus acidophilus BA05, Lactobacillus plantarum Lactobacillus BP06, Lactobacase7 subs . bulgaricus ** BD08; cornstarch; anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide.
Without dyes, preservatives and synthetic sweeteners.
It does not contain soy allergens or milk proteins.

How to use
Adults: 1-2 sachets throughout the day.
Children: consult your doctor for the correct dosage.
The contents of the sachet should be mixed in a glass of water or any other non-hot and non-carbonated drink and swallowed immediately. Alternatively, it can be taken with yogurt, ice cream or fruit juice and swallowed immediately. It should not be mixed with hot food or drinks as the high temperature inactivates bacteria.

Warnings
Keep out of the reach of children under three years of age. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. The product, as a food supplement, is not intended as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
The product contains live lactic bacteria and bifidobacteria, sensitive to heat: it is therefore recommended to avoid exposure to heat sources or sudden changes in temperature, to store it in a dry place, away from light and at a refrigerated temperature.
There are no reported undesirable effects due to ingestion. In some cases, abdominal bloating may occur in the first few days of taking the product, particularly if the diet is high in carbohydrates and fats. This effect is transient.

storage
It must be kept at a refrigerated temperature (2 ° - 8 ° C) and protected from light.
However, the product can be stored for a week at room temperature (maximum: 25 ° C) without undergoing significant alterations in the number of viable bacteria. The minimum storage term indicated on the package refers to the product correctly stored, in intact packaging.
