Vitapos Ophthalmic Ointment 5 g

Vit A -POS CE product, class IIa, based on vitamin A. Sterile ophthalmic ointment based on vitamin A without preservatives. Thanks to its particular composition it is easily applied on the ocular surface. VitA-POS protects the ocular surface and stabilizes the tear film. The vitamin A contained in it is a natural constituent of the tear film that promotes good tolerability of the ophthalmic ointment and ensures complete mixing with the tears. Relieves the sensation of burning, dryness or eye fatigue. Finally, it facilitates the sliding of the eyelids on the corneal and conjunctival surface.

How to use
Ophthalmic ointments must be used avoiding contact of the dispensing nozzle with the eye or skin. Unscrew the cap covering the dispensing spout. The cap is sealed with a white ring which ensures the integrity of the tube before the first use and therefore guarantees its safety. Use VitA-POS only if the sealing ring on the tube is intact before first use. When opened for the first time, the cap is separated from the white sealing ring. Please remove the sealing ring from the tube before the first application of the eye ointment. Slightly tilt the head back, slightly lower the lower eyelid of the eye and, with a little pressure on the tube, spread a thin strip of ointment into the conjunctival sac. Slowly close the eyelids. Close the tube carefully after use. the frequency of use depends on your habits and personal needs. VitA-POS can be used in addition to lubricating eye drops and is generally applied once a day in the evening before going to sleep. To use VitA-POS more frequently, contact your doctor. There are no limits on the duration of the treatment.

Warnings
VitA-POS must not be used in case of ascertained individual hypersensitivity to one of the components of the product. The use of the product during the day causes a slight alteration of vision due to the greasy consistency of the ointment. In this case, you should therefore avoid driving a car, operating machinery or working without a stable base.
VitA-POS should not be used when wearing contact lenses. VitA-POS must not be used simultaneously with other ophthalmic pharmaceutical products. In these cases VitA-POS should be used at least 30 minutes after the application of other medicinal products into the eye. To dispense the ointment, press lightly on the tube without bending or wrapping it. Based on current acquisitions, VitA-POS can also be used in children, pregnant or breastfeeding women. use a pack of VitA-POS for each individual subject. Keep VitA-POS out of the reach of children.

storage
Store at room temperature (15-25 ° C). If well stored, VitA-POS can be used for up to 6 months after first opening. Do not use VitA-POS after the expiration date.
