VitaDHA Materna is a food supplement of Omega-3 fatty acid DHA Plus and Quatrefolic®

Omega-3 DHA supplementation during pregnancy is recommended by the European Union as   this fatty acid represents a fundamental nutrient for this phase of a woman's life.

The formulation present in Maternal VitaDHA was developed to create the best health path for mother and baby, from the pre-conception period up to breastfeeding.

Each pearl contains:

250 mg of superior quality Omega-3 DHA Plus with highly absorbed triglyceride structure 400 mcg of new generation folic acid as L-methylfolate glucosamine salt (Quatrefolic®) the biologically active and highly bioavailable form of folic acid

Benefits

The mother's intake of DHA contributes to the normal development of the brain and vision of the fetus and breastfed infants. * The intake of folate during pregnancy contributes to the growth of maternal tissues. The intake of folate contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism

* The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 200 mg of DHA in addition to the recommended daily allowance for omega-3s of 250 mg of DHA and EPA.

Indication and method of use

VitaDHA Materna is indicated to meet the need for DHA in the preconception, pregnancy and lactation periods.

The recommended intake is 1 pearl per day just before or during the main meal.

Contraindications

Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to one of the components of the product or other closely related substances from a chemical point of view.

Side effects

An intake of product higher than that recommended can rarely determine the occurrence of the following phenomena:

These symptoms resolve with dose reduction or temporary discontinuation of supplementation.

Interactions

There are no known interactions with other drugs.

Packaging and storage

Each pack contains 2 blisters of 15 pearls each. Optimal storage takes place in an environment away from sources of heat, light and humidity, with a temperature not exceeding 30 ° C. The product is valid for 36 months from the date of manufacture.
