Vicks Cough are tablets based on Dextromethorphan with a honey flavor.
Vicks Cough is a medicine to be used as a cough suppressant.
Vicks Cough should be administered in the following doses:
A moderate overdose could cause dizziness, arousal, mental confusion and gastrointestinal upset. Very high doses could cause arousal, mental confusion and respiratory depression. Treatment of overdosage may require gastric lavage and treatment of specific symptoms.
Excitement, mental confusion, gastrointestinal disturbances, sleepiness and dizziness may occur.
In case of pregnancy and lactation, the preparation must be administered only in case of real need and under the supervision of the doctor.
Administer with caution in subjects with impaired hepatic function. Do not administer to children under two years of age. The product contains sucrose (2.1 g per tablet), this should be taken into account in case of diabetes or low calorie diets. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Alcohol intake is not recommended during therapy.
