EXCIPIENTS
Hard capsules 300 mg: ascorbic acid. Capsule components: gelatin, titanium dioxide. Cream 2%: ascorbic acid, polyglycolic ester of fatty acids, propylene glycol, methyl p-hydroxybenzoate, propyl p-hydroxybenzoate, purified water.
INDICATIONS
Symptoms attributable to venous insufficiency; states of capillary fragility.
CONTRAINDICATIONS / SECONDARY EFFECT
Hypersensitivity 'to the active substance or to any of the excipients; generally contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation.
DOSAGE
Hard capsules 300 mg: it is recommended as attack therapy the administration of 2 capsules per day and as maintenance therapy (from 2 to 4 weeks or more) the administration of one capsule per day. The capsules are to be ingested before or during meals. 2% cream: apply the cream 2-3 times a day.
STORAGE
Cream: no special storage precautions. Capsules: store at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees C.
WARNINGS
It is advisable to interrupt the administration of the drug during the menstrual period.
INTERACTIONS
There are no known effects of interactions.
SIDE EFFECTS
In rare cases, mild gastrointestinal disturbances and facial vasodilation have been described. The use, especially if prolonged, of products for topical use can give rise to sensitization phenomena. If this occurs, treatment must be suspended and appropriate therapy instituted if necessary.
PREGNANCY AND BREASTFEEDING
The safety of the drug in pregnancy has not been determined, therefore it is advisable not to administer the product during pregnancy.
