TIODOL
COMPLEX Dietary supplement based on glucosamine and chondroitin, the main constituents of the connective tissue and cartilage. Contains Methyl Sulfonylmethane (MSM). The standardized dry extract of boswelia titrated in AKBA is useful for joint function. Zinc and Selenium contribute to the protection of oxidative stress, Vitamin D3, to the maintenance of normal bones. This combination, useful for tissue trophism, supports the physiological functioning of the joints.
Chondroitin sulfate Present in every tissue of the human body, thanks to its particular conformation it attracts and retains a lot of water, nourishing and lubricating the joints. It is the main component of cartilage and as such reduces pain and improves the functionality of the bone joints, giving the articular cartilage that elasticity that makes it capable of absorbing shocks. In the processes of degeneration of the joints there is a decrease of this component which leads to the progressive loss of elasticity and the onset of painful sensation.
Glucosamine Indispensable in the synthesis of proteins present in cartilage as it stimulates the biosynthesis of proteoglycans, favoring the construction of a new cartilage and blocking the excessive destruction of the existing one. Finally, it favors the fixation of sulfur in the biosynthesis of chondroitin sulphate, nourishing and renewing the joint cartilages. Glucosamine alone is effective, but the addition of chondroitin sulfate increases its effectiveness for the benefit of cartilages.
Methyl Sulfonylmethane It is a biologically active form of sulfur and is the main component of cartilage and glycosaminoglycans. The latter form a kind of protective gel that acts as a matrix for tendons, cartilage, skin and bones, helping to maintain the integrity of the joints and the elasticity of the connective tissue.
Collagen Main component of fibrous connective tissue, whose function is to support the muscular body structure of the bones. Studies conducted in vitro have shown that the daily intake of collagen reduces pain in subjects with severe and pronounced distress symptoms. The oral administration of this protein, in fact, increases the pool of amino acids and peptides present in the cartilage, to the benefit of the joints.
Boswellia With beneficial action for the joints. It is recognized as an effective anti-inflammatory action in disorders of the osteoarticular system, such as rheumatism, arthrosis, back pain, tendonitis, etc. Boswellic acids, in fact, exert a selective inhibition on the elastesis enzyme, responsible for the destruction of glycosaminoglycans, maintaining thus the integrity of the collagen.
Vitamin D3 Useful for keeping calcium and phosphorus levels constant, keeping bones healthy and resistant.
Zinc and Selenium They belong to the group of mineral salts called Micoroelements, which are essential for the formation of bone tissue. They are nutrients that regulate the immune system and perform an important natural antioxidant action against free radicals.
Escin It is one of the saponins contained in Aesculus Hyppocastanum. The use in case of bruises and bruises is linked to the increase in capillary tone, resistance and elasticity, with a decrease in their permeability.
Camphor It acts on the skin as a rubefacient (draws blood), anti-itching and soothing. Its use is also widely used in the sports field as a remedy against painful contractures, cramps and muscle aches.
Capsacin Intended for the treatment of muscular and rheumatic pains, it counteracts the release of substance P (mediator of pain from the point of onset to the central nervous system) in the joint tissues, where this substance activates the release of the inflammatory factors responsible for various forms of arthritis and arthrosis.
Menthol Creates a cold effect that stimulates blood circulation, eliminating the feeling of swelling. Its antirheumatic and relaxing properties on tired muscles also make it useful for athletes and for all those who perform intense physical activity.
