STERIGRAP product CE 0373. Strip for the suture consisting of a polyester support very resistant to traction, adhesive with Hot Melt glue. The high adhesiveness is obtained thanks to a particular treatment (UV reticulation) which maintains the qualities of hypoallergenicity unaltered. Sterile. Joins the edges of cuts and wounds. It supports the work done by metal or wire sutures. Prevents the reopening of cuts and wounds in the process of healing.
The shape of Sterigrap aims to make the use of the strip more comfortable by offering a high seal of the suture. The central portion of the strip, the one in contact with the injured skin, is very small. The part in contact with the intact skin, on the other hand, is enlarged to allow a large contact surface between the adhesive and the skin and thus offering a high seal of the suture.
