Sofargel Topical Gel Treatment of Skin Lesions 10g

Sofargel Lesions Treatment Gel is a product based on Silver sulfadiazine, very useful in the local treatment of skin lesions, abrasions, bruises, cuts and any type of wound or localized first and second degree burn.

Indications

Sofargel is indicated for the local treatment of skin lesions such as: abrasions, grazes, cuts, wounds, skin irritations and dermatological affections in general. Its formulation allows to maintain the humidity of the environment to facilitate the regeneration and removal of non-viable fragments and accumulations of fibrin.

How does Sofargel Gel for skin lesions treatment work?

Its formulation exploits the antibacterial properties of Silver sulfadiazine and is very useful:

• In the treatment of skin lesions or abrasions. In particular, the gel is able to hydrate while keeping the wound bed moist;
• Prevent skin infections after abrasions or injuries;
• Cleanse to remove non-viable fragments;

How to use

After proper cleansing of the lesion, apply a uniform layer of SofarGEL 2 or 3 mm thick on the affected surfaces. The gel can be applied either directly on the lesions, or previously spread on a sterile gauze to obtain the moisturizing effect or on a polyurethane or semi-occlusive dressing as a cleanser. The application of the gel should continue without interruption once or twice a day, as long as there is the possibility of infection and until complete healing, both in spontaneous and surgical repairs. At each renewal of the application, thoroughly cleanse the lesions with water or physiological solution.

Warnings and Contraindications

Keep out of the reach of children under 3 years of age.
Use directly on the area to be treated.
