Prontogral Supplement 30 Capsules

Prontogral is a food supplement of DHA, lactoferrin, vitamins and minerals, useful for integrating the diet of pregnant and breastfeeding women.
DHA is a fatty acid from the Omega-3 family that contributes to the maintenance of normal brain and visual functions (these beneficial effects are obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of DHA *). The mother's intake of DHA contributes to the physiological brain and eye development in the fetus and breast-fed infants (these beneficial effects are obtained with a daily intake of 200 mg of DHA in addition to the recommended daily intake of fatty acids omega-3 in adults, which is equal to: 250 mg of DHA and EPA *).
* Prontogral provides 500 mg of DHA per day, and is therefore able to compensate for the nutritional deficiencies of this important omega-3 and thus to promote the beneficial effects indicated above.
Vitamin B2 promotes the normal functioning of the nervous system and the maintenance of normal vision and contributes to the physiological metabolism of iron.
Lactoferrin is a glycoprotein present in milk, belonging to the family of transferrins, which intervene in the iron transport processes.
Folic acid contributes to the growth of maternal tissues in pregnancy and to normal hematopoiesis.
Prontogral is intended for women of childbearing age. The beneficial effect related to neural tube defects in the fetus is obtained with a daily supplementary intake of folic acid of 400 mcg (2 capsules per day) for at least one month before and up to 3 months after conception.
Vitamin B12 and iron help the physiological formation of red blood cells and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Magnesium contributes to normal protein synthesis and is involved, together with vitamin D, calcium and zinc, in the process of cell division.

How to use
The recommended dose is 2 capsules a day, in the morning and in the evening or in a single daily dose, to be taken with a little water. It is recommended to take it at least one month before conception and for the entire duration of pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of the reach of children under 3 years of age. Food supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
