Relevant and frequent component of Tinea Pedis (Athlete's Foot). Onychomycosis is a very common nail disease that affects approximately 20% of the population; in patients over the age of 60, onychomycosis reaches much higher percentages, between 50 and 75%. Numerous risk factors have been identified that predispose to onychomycosis; many of these factors are characteristic of elderly subjects (peripheral neuropathies, ischemia, venous stasis, chronic thrombophlebitis, diabetes, hypertension, etc.). Even in the young and adult subject, the increasing use of footwear with insufficient transpiration, the frequentation of infected beaches, swimming pools, showers, etc. constitute increasing risk factors for fungal nail infections. The penetration of the fungus depends on the degree of reactivity of the dermal-epidermal tissues that make up the nail system (nail bed, nail matrix, hyponychia, etc.). These manifestations are frequently accompanied by trophism conditions of the nail with alteration of shape, color, structure (onychodystrophy). The substances contained in PODATLET PoliAct DROPS act synergistically and synchronously both on the control of the degree of reactivity of the skin and mucocutaneous tissues (through precise biological mechanisms) balancing the natural defenses put in place by the body to counteract the penetration and proliferation of mycetes; both on the normalization of nail trophism. Adelmidrol regulates the activity of the dermal mast cell; the Undecylenic Acid - Phytosphingosine - Usnic Acid - Triclosan-Bronopol complex acts as a bio-inhibitor of microbial growth, thus helping to limit the risk of onychomycosis; Biotin and Vitamin A regulate keratinocytic differentiation; Polydatin determines an anti-free radical effect and Urea counteracts the thickening of the nail plate.

How to use
Apply a few drops of the solution along the lateral nail fold, on the proximal fold and along the free edge of the nail plate, taking care that the product penetrates the sub-laminar area. Repeat the treatment at least 2 times a day.

For external use only. The product is not indicated for subjects already sensitized to the components present in the formulation. Keep out of reach of children.
