THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS
Folic acid, or vit. B9, is a water-soluble vitamin necessary for the synthesis of DNA and RNA and has an important role in the mechanisms of cell division, in erythropoiesis and in various processes involving the nervous system. Folic acid is absorbed in the intestine (particularly in the first section of the small intestine) and is stored in the liver.
DOSAGE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
Dog 1/2 tablet per day by mouth. Cats 1/4 tablet per day by mouth. Pregnant bitch 1/2 tablet per day by mouth.
