WARNINGS
The product does not prevent tick infestation in animals, but ticks can be eliminated in the first 24-48 hours after infestation before having a full blood meal thus keeping the risk of disease transmission to a minimum. Dead ticks often detach from the animal and any that remain can be easily removed by gently removing them with your hands. To optimally control fleas in a household with several pets, all dogs and cats should be treated with a suitable insecticide. Avoid frequent bathing or shampooing of the animal as the continued effectiveness of the product in these conditions has not been tested. Fleas present on pets often infest the pet's kennel, blankets and areas where the animal lives, in particular carpets, rugs, curtains and furnishing fabrics which, in case of massive infestations and at the beginning of treatment pesticide, should be treated with a special insecticide and regularly cleaned with a vacuum cleaner. Avoid contact with the eyes of the animal. In case of accidental contact, immediately wash the eyes with copious amounts of water. For external use only. Animals should be weighed carefully before treatment. It is important to make sure that the product is applied in an area where the animal cannot lick and to check that the animals do not lick each other after the treatment. Ticks could attach themselves to the animal. For this reason, the transmission of infectious diseases cannot be completely excluded in the presence of unfavorable conditions. Do not apply the product on wounds or damaged skin. Special precautions for those administering the product to animals: the product can cause irritation to the mucous membranes and eyes. It is therefore advisable to avoid contact with the mouth and eyes. In case of accidental contact, immediately wash eyes with large quantities of normal water. If eye irritation persists, seek medical attention immediately and show him the information leaflet. Do not let the contents come into contact with your hands. If so, wash your hands with soap and water. Wash hands after use. Do not smoke, drink or eat during application. People with known hypersensitivity to fipronil or its excipients should avoid contact with the veterinary medicinal product. Do not touch treated animals and do not allow children to play with treated animals until the application site is dry. It is therefore advisable not to treat the animals during the day, but in the early hours of the evening and, if just treated, not to let the animals sleep with the owners, especially with children. Other precautions Alcohol used as a vehicle could have adverse effects on painted surfaces or furniture or other types of furniture in the home. The product is flammable and should therefore be stored away from sources of heat, sparks, open flame or other sources of ignition. Overdose: the toxicity of the administered product on the skin is extremely low. The risk of onset of adverse effects could however increase in the event of overdose and therefore animals should always be treated with the pipette of the size corresponding to their body weight.
