Oxepa Particularly suitable for inflammatory and hyper-inflammatory situations in patients with critical illnesses, who need to be ventilated artificially and / or are affected by sepsis, SIRS (Systemic Inflammatory Response Syndrom) or ALI (Acute Lung Injury) / ARDS (Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome).

Features
Product for balanced enteral nutrition, high-calorie (1.5 kcal / ml), low in carbohydrates, with a high percentage of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), gamma-linoleic acid (GLA) and antioxidants.
The fatty acids EPA and GLA possess anti-inflammatory properties and positively influence the inflammatory reaction.
Antioxidants neutralize free radicals and protect against oxidative processes.
Low percentage of carbohydrates, which minimizes CO2 production.
