CDP-choline (Cytidindiphosphocholine or Citicoline) is a molecule present in the body. It is physiologically used as a precursor in the endogenous synthesis of phospholipids of the nerve cell membrane, as well as participating in the maturation processes of visual functions. CDP-choline is also used by nerve cells for the synthesis of acetylcholine, which is essential for the propagation of visual signals.
