Decongestant nasal spray with oxymetazoline hydrochloride.
Neo Nasal Borocillin contains oxymetazoline hydrochloride which belongs to a group of medicines known as topical nasal decongestants. These medicines help to constrict the blood vessels in the nose, reducing edema of the nasal mucosa (the inner lining of the nose) and making it easier to breathe. The Neo Borocillin Nasal Spray is indicated to free (decongest) the "stuffy nose", especially in case of a cold.
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist. The recommended dose in adults and children over 12 years is:
1 spray per nostril every 6-12 hours, as needed or as directed by the doctor. Do not exceed the indicated dose.
Do not exceed 4 days of treatment unless otherwise indicated by the doctor. Consult your doctor if the disorder occurs repeatedly or if you have noticed any recent changes in its characteristics.
Tell your doctor immediately or go to the nearest hospital if you accidentally take more than the recommended daily dose of this medicine. Symptoms that can occur in case of an overdose of the medicine are:

Do not use Neo Nasal Borocillin:
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. The following side effects may occur with Neo Borocillina Nasale:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. In the first months of pregnancy and during breastfeeding, use Neo Borocillin Nasale only after consulting your doctor.
Talk to your doctor before using Neo Borocillin Nasal: if you have or have suffered from diseases of the heart and circulation, especially if you have or have suffered from high blood pressure, if you are elderly because this medicine may cause difficulty in passing urine (urinary retention) . Do not use Neo Nasal Borocillin for prolonged treatments; after a few days of treatment without appreciable results, consult your doctor. This medicine should not be used for more than 4 days.
Continued use of the spray can alter the normal function of the mucous membrane of the nose and paranasal sinuses and lead to drug addiction (need to use increasing doses of medicine). The use, especially if prolonged, of products for topical use can give rise to sensitization phenomena (excessive reaction of the body to foreign substances with which it has come into contact). In this case, stop the treatment and consult your doctor. Neo Borocillin Nasal Spray is for external use only and should not be ingested. Avoid contact of the spray with your eyes. If accidentally ingested or if used for a long time it can cause toxic effects.
Check the expiration date indicated on the package. The expiry date refers to the product in intact packaging, correctly stored.

Oxymetazoline hydrochloride 0.050 g.
Sorbitol, monobasic potassium phosphate, anhydrous disodium phosphate, chlorhexidine diacetate, purified water.
