MultiCare IN is a diagnostic device suitable for multiparametric self-control with capillary aspiration for the determination of the following parameters: glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides.

Indications

The MultiCare IN system was developed for the measurement and monitoring of blood glucose, cholesterol and triglycerides. It is particularly suitable for all those who need to keep the major risk factors that cause cardiovascular disease under control: glucose, cholesterol and triglycerides.

Technical features

The technology developed for the MultiCare IN device allows you to measure the different parameters with the same instrument, simply by changing the type of strips: in fact, each pack of test strips comes with the chip with the specific program and code for the analyte to be measured . Of particular importance is also the historical register function of personal analytical results, provided by the multiCare system which allows to take the most appropriate preventive or therapeutic actions in light of their temporal trend.

The MultiCare IN device has the following features:

• Sample to be used: fresh capillary blood.
• Sample volume: glucose electrode 0,9µL, cholesterol and triglycerides 10µL.
• Blood sample hematocrit range: 30% -55% glucose, 35% 50% cholesterol, 30% -50% triglycerides.
• Measurement range: 10-600 mg / dl (0.6 - 33.3 mmol / L) glucose electrode, 130-400 mg / dl (3.3 - 10.2 mmol / l) cholesterol 50-500 mg / dl (0.5 - 5.6 mmol / l) triglycerides.
• Measurement interval: 5 seconds for Glucose, 25/50 seconds for Cholesterol and Triglycerides.
• Temperature range of use of the strips: 10- 40 C °
• Usage time of the strips after first opening: 90 days
• Expiry: 24 months

How to use

• Insert the data-chip

You must insert the data chip contained in the box of strips to automatically download all the information needed to perform the test.

• Check the number

The display shows the data-chip number which should correspond to the one printed on the label on the bottle.

• Insert the strip

Insert the reagent strip of the parameter you want to run. The instrument turns on automatically.

• Aspiration of blood

After performing the finger prick, let the blood be aspirated. The blood volume required is small.

• Check the result

Check the result that appears on the display after a short time. The extended characters will help the operator to perform the test and read the results clearly.

• Ejection of used strips

After performing the test it is possible to automatically eject the strip by pressing the switch on the back of the instrument to avoid coming into direct contact with blood.
