Mucosamin rectal gel is a product with a mainly protective action on the rectal mucosa, made in compliance with Directive 93/42 / EEC MDD. It is indicated in actinic proctitis from radiotherapy treatment of the pelvic district and in proctitis undergoing chemotherapy or combined treatments (radio and chemotherapy).
Fluid gel in the form of micro-enemas based on hyaluronic acid, the main component of connective tissue, and amino acids intended to promote the formation of collagen, which can be used as an adjunct in the repair process of the rectal mucosa and anal canal, and in painful symptoms of neurological damage in proctitis from radiotherapy and / or chemotherapy treatment of pelvic tumors.
Mucosamin rectal gel, creating a protective layer on the erythematous or ulcerated mucosa characterized by burning pain of varying intensity, decreases the pain symptoms with a rapid reduction in burning and pain. Hyaluronic acid and amino acids also promote a regenerative stimulus of the collagen and epithelial tissue and, consequently, that of the mucous membranes.
Mucosamin rectal gel, in single-dose packaging, can be easily applied in an adequate dosage for rectal mucositis and for the maintenance of mucosal trophism in order to avoid relapses and prevent their onset.

How to use
Before applying the product, clean the affected area thoroughly. Remove the cap, insert the applicator nozzle and press the bellows to dispense the gel. If necessary, before introducing the applicator, take a small portion of gel and lubricate the applicator in order to facilitate its entry, reducing the possible tenderness of the area. Then introduce the applicator spout and apply force to the bellows, spreading the entire gel content evenly, the bottle is single-dose.
It is advisable to use a microclism one or more times a day in relation to the extent of the symptoms or according to medical opinion.

Components
Purified water, sodium hyaluronate, glycine, L-proline, L-leucine, L-lysine HCl, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, propylene glycol.
