MoM Repair is a hydrocolloid gel to be used for the treatment of localized wounds, both dry and wet. Regulates the wound environment by stimulating the healing process. It is suitable for chronic or acute wounds such as superficial burns, grazes, cuts, sores and leg ulcers. It does not contain parabens.

Indications

MoM Repair hydrocolliodale gel is indicated for the local treatment of dry or wet wounds of various types. Contains carnosine, an ingredient that covers the injured epidermis by reducing fluid and blood loss, while simultaneously acting as a buffer and antioxidant. In moist wounds, carnosine absorbs excess fluid. MoM Repair does not adhere to the wound and controls its microenvironment, thus helping healing. Gel formula with silver citrate, paraben and latex free.

How does MoM Repair Gel Hydrocolloid Spray for Wounds and Sores work?

MoM Repair gel is a topical treatment for dry and wet wounds and lesions. This hydrocolloid gel:

• it is recommended for superficial burns, abrasions, cuts, sores and leg ulcers;
• contains carbosin which acts as a buffer reducing blood loss;
• absorbs excess fluid from the wound;
• promotes the healing process avoiding contamination of the injured skin;
• it does not contain parabens or latex.

How to use

Closed wounds: clean and disinfect the area to be treated, apply MoM Repair on the wound without touching it, with the spray package; if necessary apply a gauze or a bandage. Open wounds: clean and disinfect the wound gently dry carefully, apply a thick layer (0.5 - 0.75 cm) of product on the wound. Apply a gauze or bandage and leave the dressing in place for 1 to 3 days until the gel is completely absorbed. Reduce the application as the scab is forming on the wound. Burns: in case of burns do not apply immediately as a first aid measure, immediately spray the wound with lukewarm running water for about 20 minutes. This operation must be carried out as quickly as possible since the beneficial effect diminishes and disappears 30 minutes after the event. To avoid the risk of hypothermia, the use of cold water is not recommended, especially when the burn covers a large area. Use MoM Repair only afterwards after having duly assessed the severity of the burn.

Warnings and Contraindications

Patients with known individual hypersensitivity to the components should not use the product.
Consult your doctor in case of incomplete healing or if unwanted symptoms arise.
Protect your face when you spray the upper body.
Store at a temperature below 40 ° C.
Do not use the product beyond the expiration date indicated on the package.
Pressurized and flammable container: do not puncture or tamper with the can in any way, even when the product has run out. The product contains flammable propellant under pressure: do not use near open flames or heat sources.
Do not store in direct sunlight.
