Indications:
purifying cleanser for cleaning acne-prone skin with a tendency to pimples and blackheads.
Dermatological micropeeling, with glycolic acid, to be used before specific treatments, to reduce skin imperfections, such as brown spots, superficial scars and hyperkeratosis.
Hygienic-cosmetic complement in skin and scalp diseases that are accompanied by desquamation (pityriasis).
Features:
thanks to the presence of glycolic acid, it favors the natural replacement of the skin.
Property:
- glycolic acid (hydroxyacetic acid): alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA) detach the horny lamellae, favoring the removal of dead cells (keratolytic effect) and the emptying of blackheads (comedolytic effect). At low concentrations they are used for the treatment of acne and its outcomes.
- Chlorhexidine (1.6-di-4-chlorophenyldiguanido-hexane): compound active against a wide range of pathogenic, gram-negative and gram-positive species, fungi, yeasts and viruses. It is capable of attaching itself to negatively charged groups present on the wall of microorganisms, resulting in membrane damage and loss of cytoplasmic structures. It inhibits the enzymatic activity and the number of leukocytes in the inflammatory exudate.
- Microspheres (polyethylene in microspheres): mechanical exfoliating properties.
- Salicylic acid (orthoxybenzoic acid): in low concentrations it is used for its keratoplastic and keratolytic power. In various galenic preparations it is used for the treatment of acne and seborrheic states.
Warnings:
external use.
Do not apply to irritated skin, mucous membranes and the periocular and periboccal area.
Avoid contact with eyes.
Do not disperse in the environment after use.
Dermofunctional subjected to dermatological evaluation to ensure tolerability on the skin and reduced ability to cause sensitization.
