Important precautionary measures
- The thermometer is used exclusively for measuring body temperature.
- The thermometer ends the measurement of body temperature correctly only when it is acoustically signaled by the <>.
- The thermometer contains small components (batteries, etc.) which can be swallowed by children. Never leave the thermometer within the reach of children.
- Protect the thermometer from shocks.
- Avoid tilting the probe beyond 45 °.
- Avoid ambient temperatures above 60 ° C: do not boil the thermometer.
- Use only the disinfectants listed in the <> section to clean the thermometer. The thermometer must be intact when you immerse it in the disinfectant liquid.
How to use
Turning on the thermometer:
To turn on the thermometer, press the button next to the display; a short beep indicates that the thermometer is on. A display test is automatically performed.
All icons must appear on the display.
When the ambient temperature is lower than 32 ° C, a <> (Low - temperature too low to be detected) will appear on the display and a flashing << ° C >> at the top right. The thermometer is now ready for use.
Instructions for Use:
Choose your preferred measurement method.
During the measurement, the temperature is shown continuously on the display and the << ° C >> symbol flashes.
When the temperature increase is lower than 0.1 ° C every 16 seconds the acoustic signal (beep-beep-beep-beep 10 times) will warn that the temperature measurement is finished, the << ° C >> symbol will cease 'to flash and the thermometer will be ready to read the body temperature.
To extend battery life, turn off the thermometer after use by briefly pressing the on / off button.
The thermometer will automatically turn off after about 10 minutes.
Recording of measured values:
If the key is held down for more than three seconds when the thermometer is turned on, the temperature recorded during the last measurement will automatically appear on the display and a small <> will indicate that the reading is of a data in memory.
After 3 seconds this value will disappear and the thermometer will return to the normal measurement mode.
The registered value is cleared.
