Description:
Food supplement containing per capsule: 70 mg of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) and 140 mg of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), progenitor of the omega-3 family, is an essential fatty acid that the human body is unable to produce. Consequently, a correct dietary intake represents the only source to take it and start the biosynthesis of the family of omega-3 fatty acids, precursors of lipids with anti-inflammatory activity. Gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) is a semi-essential omega-6 fatty acid, from which dihomo-gamma-linolenic acid (DGLA) precursor of series 1 prostaglandins (PGE1 - anti-inflammatory prostaglandins) is formed enzymatically; GLA is scarcely present in foods of the usual diet, while it is present in some plants, such as borage. The biological activity of GLA is well documented in scientific literature for hydration and elasticity of the dermis. The formulation with gamma and alpha-linolenic acids provides the balance between omega-6 and omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids to meet the need for turnover and formation of cell membranes for all types of tissue, as well as the formation of lipid mediators involved in inflammatory and anti-inflammatory phenomena, in the modulation of the immune response and in the trophism of the skin tissue. This balance, depending on the lifestyle adopted and the conditions of exposure to various agents (smoke, drugs, light) or in the case of an excess of radical stress, can be compromised.

Borage oil (Borago officinalis L.) titrated at 40% in gamma-linolenic acid (GLA); edible gelatin (wrapper); L-alpha-glycerylphosphorylcholine (GPC); linseed oil (Linum usitatissimum L.) titrated to 170% in alpha-linolenic acid (ALA); vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid); mono and diglycerides of fatty acids (emulsifier); glycerol (resistance agent); sunflower lecithin (emulsifier); Haematococcus pluvialis Flotow, thallus, extract in olive oil titrated at 10% in astaxanthin; sunflower oil titrated at 70% in natural vitamin E (D-alpha-tocopherol); sorbitol (strength agent); chlorophyll (dye).

How to use:
Take 1 or 2 capsules a day, on a full stomach.
