PHARMACOTHERAPEUTIC CATEGORY

ACTIVE PRINCIPLES
Ammonium sulphoichthyolate.
EXCIPIENTS
White petroleum jelly.
INDICATIONS
Inflammations and small skin infections; furunculosis (pimples), abscesses, and superficial skin ulcerations; inflammation of the sweat glands (hidradenitis).
CONTRAINDICATIONS / SECONDARY EFFECT
Hypersensitivity 'to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
DOSAGE
Apply the ointment, in the quantity necessary in relation to the part to be treated, 2 - 3 times a day, covering with a gauze.
STORAGE
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees C; keep the container tightly closed in the original package.
WARNINGS
Do not apply near the eyes and mucous membranes. Avoid exposure to the sun and UVA rays after application. The use, especially if prolonged, of medicines for local use can give rise to irritation or sensitization phenomena. If this occurs, discontinue treatment.
