How does Hedrin Rapid Spray work?

Hedrin Rapid Spray works by eliminating all lice present on the head thanks to the combined action of Dimethicone and Penetrol . Dimethicone is a silicone oil that interrupts the water management process by coating the lice, immobilizing them permanently, blocking their spiracles and preventing them from eliminating excess water. Parasites die from suffocation.
Also active on nits. Penetrol, on the other hand, facilitates the action of Dimethicone at the level of the spiracles.

How to use

Cover your shoulders with a towel. Shake the bottle well before use.
Holding the spray about 10cm from your head, spray onto dry hair with a sufficient amount of product, making sure you have completely covered both scalp and hair.

Run your fingers or a normal comb through your hair, distributing the product accurately and evenly from roots to ends. Leave on the hair for at least 15 minutes (or longer if needed). It is not necessary to use the comb as an integral part of the treatment (to kill parasites). Before rinsing, apply a normal shampoo on the surface of the hair, making sure you have it well covered; this operation is important to completely eliminate the product which is water repellent. If the hair is rinsed before the shampoo is applied, the removal of the product will be in vain.

Warning: the product contains anti-foaming ingredients therefore the shampoo will not immediately produce foam.
Wash thoroughly with shampoo then rinse with water. Apply a conditioner if necessary, rinse and dry. If, once the hair has dried, the product is not completely eliminated, repeat the entire procedure remembering to apply the shampoo directly on dry hair.

Warnings and Contraindications

Hedrin Rapido contains anti-foaming ingredients and therefore the shampoo will not foam easily.
In the event of re-infestation, Hedrin Rapido can be reused without problems.
Before using the product, read the package insert carefully.
The product eliminates lice and their nits in adults and children aged 6 months and over.
It works mechanically by suffocating the lice; it also contains Penetrol which favors the penetration of the product inside the nits, killing them.
It has been shown that the product works with a single application; however, it is necessary to check, one week after application, that no lice and / or nits have survived the treatment.
If live head lice are found, reapply the product.
The spray can be used whenever needed without the product developing resistance in parasites.
Be careful when using the product; bathtubs, shower trays, can become slippery. Remove any residue using a detergent and warm water.
Do not use the product if you are allergic to one of the ingredients in the product. If skin rashes or other allergic reactions occur, discontinue use. Immediately wash skin with soap and water and seek medical attention.
Avoid contact with eyes. In case of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with water. If irritation persists, consult a physician.
In case of accidental ingestion, seek medical attention as soon as possible. Bring the package with you in order to show the ingested product.
Do not use on broken skin. Do not use on children under 6 months of age.
Shake the bottle well before each use.
Follow the instructions carefully to wash the product off your hair.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Store in the original packaging. Store at a temperature below 25 ° C.
Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.
After use, the empty container can be recycled.
