Eucerin UreaRepair 5% fluid cleanser is indicated for dry, mature skin or skin affected by psoriasis, diabetes. Based on delicate cleansing agents and above all urea and lactate, natural moisturizing factors that bind water in the stratum corneum, it protects against dehydration.

How does Eucerin UreaRepair 5% Body Cleansing Fluid work?

Eucerin Fluid Cleanser with 5% Urea contains only mild cleansing agents, which make it suitable for cleansing dry and extremely dry skin, it is also enriched with Urea and Lactate, natural moisturizing factors that bind water in the stratum corneum (the upper skin layer). Because this ultra-gentle formula hydrates and works the skin's natural barrier, it is ideal for daily cleansing of dry, mature skin, or skin affected by Psoriasis or diabetes.

• Urea, a natural moisturizer produced by the skin, is hygroscopic, as it binds the water inside the stratum corneum, and boasts keratolytic properties, because it splits the bonds between dead skin cells, improving their detachment;
• Natural Moisturizing Factors (NFM), the skin also contains many other natural moisturizing factors (NMFs) in addition to Urea. These are Lactate, PCA, amino acids, salts and sugars. Like Urea, these natural moisturizing factors attract water particles and bind them in the stratum corneum, or in the upper layer of the skin, preventing it from becoming dry, flaky and damaged;
• Ceramides are produced by the skin to create a natural protective barrier that prevents moisture loss following evaporation, and that blocks out irritants that can cause inflammation and itching. When the concentration of ceramides in the skin decreases, skin dryness and irritation may appear. Ceramide-3 is a molecule produced synthetically but identical to the biological one that helps to repair and regenerate the natural barrier of the skin, to block hydration inside (perhaps it is better "to reduce water loss") and prevent dryness and irritation.

How to use

Apply a small amount to your hands. Gently massage on face, body, hands and feet. Rinse well.
