Epinorm gel is a sterile product formulated as an isosmotic hydrophilic gel and compatible with biological exudates which, thanks to the synergistic effect of its components, favors the natural re-epithelialization process of skin lesions, even deep ones.
The presence of Trans-Traumatic Acid optimizes the natural process of convergence of the keratinocytes thus determining a progressive normalization of the trans epidermal loss of water and a barrier effect capable of containing the risk of colonization by microorganisms.
Adelmidrol, a lipid substance widely used as an adjuvant in the normalization of dermo-epidermal inflammatory processes, promotes the physiological endogenous increase of the local levels of aliamide palmitoylethanolamide (PEA), necessary for the control of the local neurovasal balance and the consequent optimal tissue repair. Therefore, the association of the two main substances determines, in consideration of the respective clearly differentiated mechanism of action, a synergistic effect capable of favoring the natural process of functional skin re-epithelialization.
Epinorm gel is intended to be used on injured skin tissue for surgical operation and particularly on injuries from surgical incision of the perineal tissue (episiotomy) with the aim of facilitating the functional re-epithelialization of the injured tissue, thus counteracting sensory hyper-innervation phenomena. and at the same time avoiding abnormal formation of fibrous tissue.

Indications
Epinorm gel is a sterile product for topical use intended for the treatment of skin lesions in the context of their healing by secondary intention, favoring the natural healing process. Particularly suitable for surgical incision lesions of the perineal tissue (episiotomy) with the aim of facilitating the functional re-epithelialization of the injured tissue, thus counteracting sensory hyper-innervation phenomena and at the same time avoiding abnormal formation of fibrous tissue.

How to use
According to medical opinion, as a guideline, apply a thin layer of gel on the affected area twice a day.

Warnings
the product is intended for use on damaged skin. It is not indicated for subjects already sensitized to the components present in the formulation. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date. Do not use if the package is open or damaged as the sterility of the product is compromised. Reuse of the disposable product can compromise the performance of the device itself. There are no known side effects of the product when used according to the instructions provided by the manufacturer.
