The drug must not be administered to children under 12 years of age.

WARNINGS
The use, especially if prolonged, of the product can give rise to sensitization phenomena. In this case it is necessary to interrupt the treatment and notify the doctor in order to establish suitable therapy. The same is true in the case of haemorrhages. Keep out of sight. Emorril contains: anhydrous lanolin. It can cause local skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis). Methyl parahydroxybenzoate and propyl parahydroxybenzoate: they can cause allergic reactions (even delayed). Propylene glycol: can cause skin irritation.

INTERACTIONS
There are no known interactions with other medicinal products and other forms of interactions.

SIDE EFFECTS
Side effects may occur due to excessive dosage or rapid absorption of lidocaine hydrochloride; this represents a phenomenon common to any other anesthetic. In the event of allergic reactions (characterized by skin lesions, hives, edema and anaphylactic reactions) the application must be stopped. Hydrocortisone acetate, like other topical corticosteroid preparations, can accentuate an incipient infection. In this case it is necessary to institute suitable coverage therapy. Report any suspected adverse reactions via the national reporting system.

PREGNANCY AND BREASTFEEDING
Use during pregnancy may be considered if necessary.
