According to the canons of homeopathy, the product is mainly used:
Gastrointestinal system: liver and biliary tract diseases. Hepatopathies, hepatitis, liver cirrhosis in the initial state, precirrotic states. Jaundice, cholecystopathies, gallstones and disturbances of biliary secretion. The remedy is also indicated in the complications of viral hepatitis, in vague symptomatological pictures in the epigastric region with sensation of weight, flatulence, postprandial sleepiness, neuropsychic erethism and hypochondria.

The individual active ingredients show a synergistic effect.
The symptoms of each remedy are as follows:
Carduus marianus: sense of abdominal weight, spasms of the biliary tract, nausea, retching.
Chelidonium: remedy for the liver and biliary tract. It has a cholagogue effect. Bitter taste in the mouth, loss of appetite, nausea. Pain radiating to the right shoulder blade.
China: asthenia and organic wasting with sweating. Meteorism and hepatic colic. Frequent belching that does not bring relief to the patient. Indigestibility of fruit.
Cholesterinum: hepatomegaly, hepatitis and cholelithiasis.
Colocynthis: abdominal spasms that are relieved by putting pressure on the abdomen and if the person leans forward. Meteorism, the subject feels relief after the emission of intestinal gas.
Lycopodium: hepatomegaly; the patient does not tolerate even the pressure on the abdomen caused by the clothing. Worsening of symptoms in the afternoon. Meteorism and flatulence, feeling of insufficient evacuation. Uricosuria important.
