The choice of individual remedies was made based on the following symptoms:

Apis mellifica: infectious edema, insect bites. Tendency to suppuration. Barium chloratum: coryza, lymphadenitis, recurrent tonsillar angina.

Belladonna: hyperemia of the mucous membranes on infectious grounds, dryness of the mucous membranes, fever with cerebral arterial hyperemia (congestion), moist and warm skin.

Calcium jodatum: chronic infantile tonsillitis, cervical and nuchal lymphadenitis and lymphadenitis. Hepar sulfur: tendency to catarrhal and suppurative inflammatory processes.

Kalium bichromicum: exudative inflammatory forms of the nasal mucous membranes, larynx and pharynx, with production of thick mucus. Mucous ulcers.

Lachesis: septic processes and infectious diseases with septic symptoms. Sense of oppression and choking in the throat. Symptoms of cardiovascular insufficiency.

Marum verum: presence of adenoid vegetations; chronic catarrhal nasopharyngitis.

Mercurius sublimatus corrosivus: hyperemic inflammation with edema of the pharynx. Mucous ulcerations with blood secretions. Mucopurulent secretions. Sticky sweats.

Phytolacca: tonsillar hyperemia, dry, painful and congested larynx. Painful sensation on swallowing that radiates to the ears.
