ACTIVE PRINCIPLES
Chlorhexidine digluconate 0.71 g / 100 ml (equivalent to 0.4 g / 100 ml of basic chlorhexidine) Allantoin 0.4 g / 100 ml, alpha-bisabolol 1 g / 100 ml.

EXCIPIENTS
Coccoylamidopropylbetaine, Isopropyl alcohol, Purified water.

INDICATIONS
For the treatment of dermatological diseases of dogs and cats which it is necessary to topically ensure a drastic reduction of pathogenic germs and at the same time favor the reparative processes; in particular: infections caused by Malassezia; superficial pyoderma such as: intertrigo, impetigo, superficial folliculitis, pyotraumatic dermatitis; deep pyoderma such as: furunculosis, canine acne, pododermatitis; seborrhea associated with infections; dermatophytosis; and as a deodorant.

CONTRAINDICATIONS / SECONDARY EFFECT
Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to the active ingredients to any of the excipients. Do not use in suckling puppies.

USE / ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION
Topical.

DOSAGE
For external use only. Spray the foam and distribute it on the entire body of the animal or only on the parts to be treated, evenly making it penetrate, if the animal is not shaved, until it comes into contact with the skin. Depending on the length of the animal's hair, administer: 4 to 8 sprays / kg, corresponding respectively to 11.5 mg and 23 mg of chlorhexidine base per kg / body weight, for the 200 ml pack; from 2 to 4 sprays / kg corresponding respectively to 12.5 mg and 25 mg of chlorhexidine base per kg / weight, for the 350 ml package. At the end of the treatment the skin and the hair must be uniformly moist. Gently comb the animal if necessary. Do not dry. Repeat initially every day or every other day, then at longer intervals, in the opinion of the veterinarian, until remission.

STORAGE
Store at room temperature and protected from light.

WARNINGS
Use the medicine according to the instructions for use indicated. The use of products for topical use, if prolonged, can give rise to sensitization phenomena. In this case, stop the treatment and consult your veterinarian. Avoid using excess foam. Do not rinse. Do not dry with cloths or absorbent paper. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use at the same time as other cleaners. For external use only. Special precautions for those administering the product to animals: people with known hypersensitivity to the active substances contained in this medicinal product should avoid contact with the veterinary medicinal product. During use it is recommended to wear gloves. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact, rinse eyes with plenty of water. Do not swallow. In case of accidental ingestion seek medical advice immediately and show the package leaflet or the label to the physician. Overdose: chlorhexidinadigluconate, allantoin and bisabolol are present in modest quantities, making the administration of excessive doses very unlikely. Thanks to its poor intestinal absorption, Chlorhexidine has low oral toxicity: the oral LD50 is equal to 1.8g / kg in mice. As for the tolerability of chlorhexidine digluconate, the wide use in human and veterinary medicine has shown that only topical concentrations higher than 2% (equal to 11.2 mg / ml of chlorhexidine base) can cause skin irritation. and that concentrations up to 0.2% (equal to 1.12 mg / ml of chlorhexidine base) are also tolerated for eye treatments. Incompatibility: surfactants other than that contained in the product can cancel the germicidal activity of chlorhexidine; do not use at the same time as other detergents or topical solutions containing borates, bicarbonates, carbonates, chlorides, citrates, nitrates, phosphates, sulphates.

SIDE EFFECTS
In rare cases, animals may develop skin irritation after treatment.

PREGNANCY AND BREASTFEEDING
Chlorhexidine is not absorbed transcutaneously and gastrointestinal absorption in case of ingestion is practically nil. The product can be used during pregnancy and lactation.
