Designed to eliminate oral biofilm (dental plaque) which accumulates in interproximal spaces of 2.2mm and is particularly suitable for anterior teeth.
Its shape allows to reach perpendicularly the anterior interproximal spaces, avoiding damage to the gums. The toothbrush can be extended by joining the cap to the handle, in order to reach the back areas of the mouth. In addition, to keep the entrance perpendicular to these areas, the toothbrush adapts to each person thanks to the flexibility without "memory effect" of the handle and neck.
Among other things, Interprox® Maxi is equipped with a non-slip insert to improve grip and control, ensuring the convenience and precision of cleaning.
The head size reaches interproximal spaces of at least 2.2 mm (PHD = 2.2).
The innovative manufacturing with high quality Tynex® filaments allows for better care of the gums, as the two-tone design allows the detection of bleeding points on the white filaments and the presence of interdental biofilm on the black ones. The stainless steel wire is coated with polyurethane (plastic material) for better protection of gums, teeth and implants. In addition, the toothbrush has a protective cap that makes it easier to transport.
Interprox® Maxi effectively cleans interproximal spaces and helps protect teeth from cavities and periodontal disease. Interprox® Maxi complies with ISO 16409 (international standard for interproximal toothbrushes).
Indications
Interprox® Maxi is indicated for people with interproximal spaces of 2.2 mm. It is also suitable for wearers of orthodontic appliances, implants and fixed prostheses.
How to use
Contact your dentist or dental hygienist to determine the size of the interproximal space and choose the toothbrush that best suits your needs.
Insert the brush correctly, so that only the filaments (and not the wire) are in contact with the teeth. Move the brush from the inside to the outside, without rotating it. The flexibility without "memory effect" allows the handle to be curved to form the most suitable angle, while the cap can be joined to the handle to reach the areas behind it. If the wire rubs on the gum or bends, use a toothbrush with a lower PHD.
