How does Daga work?

Daga is a food supplement whose formulation based on amino acids such as: L-Ornithine HCl, L-Arginine HCl and L-Citrulline, contributes to the maintenance and physiological production of nitric oxide in the body. The properties of the elements that characterize the product are:

• L-Arginine: is an amino acid precursor of Nitric Oxide. The nitric oxide generated spreads inside the muscle fiber cells and supports the physiological activation of the vasodilation processes. Arginine participates in the Urea Cycle and is a derivative of Citrulline;
• L-Citrulline: is an amino acid involved in the biosynthesis of Arginine, of which it is a precursor in the Urea cycle;
• L-Ornithine: is an amino acid precursor of Citrulline in the urea cycle, it is also an anti-catabolic agent and a source of Glutamine.
• Nitric Oxide is synthesized by the enzyme nitroxide synthetase (NOS) starting from arginine. Citrulline is the precursor of the amino acid arginine in its biosynthesis. By adding a carbamyl phosphate residue, ornithine is transformed into citrulline by the action of ornithine-transcarbamylase (OTC). The synergy of these amino acids contributes to a constant production of Nitric Oxide through a prolonged synthesis of Arginine.
