INDICATIONS Mycosis of the skin and skin folds, such as pityriasis versicolor, skin candidiasis, tinea pedis or athlete's foot, tinea corporis.
CONTRAINDICATIONS / SECONDARY EFFECT Hypersensitivity 'to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
DOSAGE Apply in small quantities two-three times a day in correspondence with the affected area, rubbing lightly, after having carefully washed and dried the part. Half a cm of cream is enough to treat a surface the size of a hand. The cream is electively indicated for the treatment of hairless (hairless) skin areas. Generally for the disappearance of the manifestations, a treatment period without interruption of three to four weeks is sufficient. In order to consolidate the therapeutic results obtained and avoid reinfections, it is advisable to continue the therapy with Clotrimazole for at least two weeks after the disappearance of the manifestations. To avoid relapses, very common in mycosis, it is good to inform the patient that he must observe some elementary hygiene rules: frequent change of underwear, towels and their chemical or thermal disinfection; avoid promiscuity of clothes and linen.
STORAGE This medicine does not require any special storage conditions.
WARNINGS Avoid contact with eyes. Do not swallow. The use, especially if prolonged, of products for topical use can give rise to sensitization phenomena. In diaper dermatitis, we do not recommend the use of diapers with an occlusive effect after applying the cream. The cream contains cetostearyl alcohol which can cause local skin reactions (eg contact dermatitis).
