Cavilon Spray NON-IRRITATING BARIER FILM

Indications
Long-lasting, clinically tested skin protector that forms a transparent and protective film when applied to the skin. It can be used on adults, children and infants aged at least one month, on 1st and 2nd stage pressure sores with low exudate, incontinence dermatitis, ostomies, venous ulcers, adhesive trauma and protection of periwound areas. Especially suitable for application on large areas such as the sacral area, legs etc. to protect red and irritated skin from urine, faeces or other body fluids.

Dosage and method of use
The skin must be clean and dry before application.
Hold the spray pack 10-15 cm from the skin and apply a thin homogeneous layer over the entire area to be treated, moving the spray with a rotating motion.
If an area is not covered, reapply in that area only after the first application has dried (about 30 sec.).
If the spray is applied to an area with skin folds or skin-to-skin contact areas, make sure these areas are separated to allow the skin to dry before returning to its normal position.
Reapplication is recommended at least every 48 - 72 hours (under normal conditions) or more frequently if needed.

storage
For good results, store the product at room temperature (15-30 ° C). Avoid exposure to excessive heat or humidity. The period of validity is three years from the date of production, provided that the product is properly stored. The expiry date is stamped and clearly visible on each sales package and single envelope.

Warnings
It should not be used as the sole protection in cases requiring the use of dressings impervious to microorganisms such as:
intravenous insertion sites; partial or total depth wounds; on infected areas of the skin.
Make sure the product is completely dry before applying diapers or clothes. Applying too many layers can make the product stiff. Used under electrodes it can modify the tracing.
