Collagen:
It is the structural protein responsible for the mechanical protection of the organism. It is the main fibrous element of skin, tendons, cartilages, bones. The lack of collagen therefore leads to a bad renewal of the tendon structure. The loss of cartilage in the tendons and joints causes the progressive destruction of these shock-absorbing elements of the joint and creates the conditions to promote pain, loss of elasticity in the joints and inflammatory reactions with edema and deformation.
The use of hydrolyzed collagen helps improve the elasticity of the joints and reduce pain. It is therefore ideal for patients suffering from arthrosis and for athletes for whom it has a significant preventive effect.
Hyaluronic acid:
It is the main component of the synovial fluid. In injuries, the cartilage and other joint structures begin to disintegrate causing the loss of hyaluronic acid, resulting in stiffness and pain. As we age, the body's ability to produce this substance decreases and supplementation becomes necessary. Osteoarthritis is one of the most common pathologies: it affects the joints of the spine and knees causing degenerative lesions of the same. In these subjects there is a marked reduction in the viscoelastic capacity of the synovial fluid and the integration of hyaluronic acid has a protective role against the tissues by limiting the penetration of inflammatory cells or proteolytic enzymes.
Glucosamine sulfate:
It is a normal constituent of glycosaminoglycans. In addition to an anti-inflammatory action, its action increases the synthesis of proteoglycans and reduces the activity of collagenase. Its effectiveness is therefore aimed at slowing the thinning of the cartilage in joints such as the knee or hip by improving the lubrication of the joints and making the joints more agile. Glucosamine has the characteristic of being assimilated rapidly passing into the bloodstream and then being actively picked up by various organs: in particular by the articular cartilages where it makes up for the lack of this substance by restoring the lost balance. In fact it stimulates the biosynthesis of chondroitin sulfate. With the use of glucosamine it is therefore possible to stop the wear process of the joints in both the elderly and young subjects with joints subjected to considerable stress.
Ananas comosus:
It has an anti-inflammatory, anti-inflammatory and anti-edematous action and is therefore effective in reducing swelling and pain after trauma to the joints. The anti-inflammatory properties linked to its ability to influence prostaglandin synthesis may be useful in promoting healing from muscle injuries such as strains and contractures. Given the inflammatory origin of these diseases, pineapple is recommended to improve the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis. Pineapple is particularly effective in the treatment of inflammatory conditions of the soft tissues associated with trauma, in localized inflammation and in postoperative tissue reactions. Where the classic NSAIDs inhibit cyclooxygenase, blocking the synthesis of prostaglandins, Bromelain hijacks this synthesis, increasing the production of prostaglandins with anti-inflammatory activity to the detriment of those with pro-inflammatory activity, thus avoiding the gastrointestinal damage typical of NSAIDs.

CONTRAINDICATIONS AND SIDE EFFECTS
Not to be used during pregnancy and lactation. At the recommended doses, no undesirable effects are known.
