ASTAZIN 10 Food supplement based on lutein, astaxanthin, coenzyme Q10, zinc, copper and vitamins A, C, E. The particular characteristic of absorption in two phases (fast - slow) allows in 24 hours optimal and differentiated dosages over time, guaranteeing protection continuous and synergy of action between the various components. It is useful in all cases of cellular degeneration affecting macula lutea and performs the important task of regulating the biochemical and physiological processes of retinal cells by slowing down the alterations in visual functions and protecting visual sensitivity even in the opacity of the lens. The active ingredients play a complementary and protective role among themselves in the forms of macular and retinal cellular rarefaction induced by dysmetabolism as in cases of degenerative aging of the visual function.
Lutein
Carotenoid which cannot be synthesized by the body is therefore essential for its external contribution. It concentrates under genetic control in the macula, in the retina, in the lens, playing a role as a natural filter, protecting the retinal epithelium from oxidative photochemical damage. It absorbs blue light and concentrates in the rods carried by HDL lipoproteins. It therefore reduces the risk of cellular degeneration of the macula and retina and the oxidation (opacity) of the lens in old age.
Astaxanthin
Like lutein, it is a carotenoid with characteristics of very strong antioxidant activity deriving from the active role of several actions on the inhibition of lipoperoxidations of the membranes of the visual apparatus. It enhances and synergizes the roles of coenzyme Q10 and vitamins E, C.
Coenzyme Q10
It plays an active and essential role in the mitochondrial respiratory chain. Its natural endogenous synthesis is reduced in the degenerative forms of the visual apparatus, therefore its administration is necessary to reduce the oxidative damage induced by free radicals. It also appears to have the ability to reactivate vitamin E, such as astaxanthin, especially when it is in its reduced form (ubiquinone).
Zinc

How to use
Take 1 tablet a day with meals for cycles of at least 20/30 days, repeatable depending on the subjective response.
