Alpha UV protection are eye drops in aqueous hydrogel that moisturize, lubricate and protect the eyes from the ultraviolet rays of the sun and other heat sources. They restore the entire eye area, protecting the eye from continuous stress.

Indications

Alfa UV protection is a sterile aqueous hydrogel to be used on ocular tissues and is particularly suitable for its moisturizing, lubricating and protective action against UV radiation thanks to the absorbent properties of N-methylbenzoquinoline methyl sulfate. Alpha UV protection eye drops are transparent and practically colorless with pH, viscosity and osmolarity values perfectly compatible with eye tissues and tear fluid.

How does Alfa Uv protection eye drops work?

The moisturizing and protective Alfa Protection UV eye drops work thanks to their original composition in the hydrogel : the presence of glycerin together with the water of the eye tissues, forms an aqueous film on the corneal surface which, in the presence of polyvinyl alcohol and sodium hyaluronate , is able to form a very stable viscoelastic colloidal hydrogel, ensuring prolonged contact on the cornea and conjunctiva. Furthermore, thanks to N-methylbenzoquinoline methyl sulfate, a substance well tolerated by the eyes and with an excellent physical action shielding against ultraviolet radiation, even the most dangerous for eye tissues, whether of natural origin (sun, snow or on the sea) or artificial (halogen lamps , video terminals, TVs, tanning or germicidal lamps for healthcare use, photovoltaic arches, etc.) giving relief to the eye after stress.

How to use

Instill 1-2 drops of Alpha UV Protection in the lower part of the eye, exerting light pressure on the body of the bottle. It is advisable to repeat the operation 3-5 or more times a day during exposure to UV radiation

Warnings and Contraindications

The device can also be used by wearers of soft and rigid contact lenses due to the absence of quaternary ammonium salts;
Do not touch the eye with the dropper tip;
Do not use in case of eye infections;
Do not use at the same time as other eye drops;
Do not use in case of known incompatibility with any component of the preparation;
Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package;
The content must be used within 30 days of first opening the bottle.
