Cloel Sopensione Orale is used as a cough suppressant.

Dosage and method of use
Cloel Sopensione Oral is administered in the following doses:

Adults: 5 ml three times a day.
Children: between 2 and 4 years: 2 ml twice a day; between 4 and 7 years: 3 ml twice a day; between 7 and 15 years: 5 ml twice a day.
A 2-3-5 ml calibrated measuring cup is attached to the package.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity 'to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
Generally contraindicated in pregnancy.
Special warnings
Due to the presence of xylitol at a concentration of 20 g / 100 ml, the drug can have a laxative effect (caloric value 2.4 Kcal / g of xylitol). It can cause allergic reactions, even delayed ones. The medicine is not contraindicated for people with celiac disease. Precautions for use: shake well before use.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Although toxicity studies carried out during pregnancy in animals have not shown teratogenic activity and fetal toxicity, the risk of harmful effects on the fetus following cloperastine intake cannot be excluded.
Therefore it is a good prudent rule not to take the drug in the first months of pregnancy and in the further period only in case of actual need under the direct supervision of the doctor.

Composition
Cloel Oral Suspension contains:
Active ingredient: Cloperastine fendizoate 708 mg (equal to 400 mg cloperastine hydrochloride)
Excipients: xanthan gum, polyoxyethylene stearate, xylitol, methyl p-hydroxybenzoate, propyl p-hydroxybenzoate, banana flavor, deionized water.
